About Me

I'm Colin Weidner and I'm originally from St. Charles, Illinois, but currently living in Milwaukee. I love all things design, and started designing 8 years ago at the age of 12. While I've developed my skills and learned new programs over the years, the passion to create has always been very strong within me. Today, I continue to hone my skills while also learning how to apply my technical abilities strategically in a business environment. I aspire to continue creating through my career, hopefully working in a creative strategy position.

School

I'm a senior at Marquette University studying marketing and graphic design, and I'll be graduating in the Spring of 2026 with a bachelors in marketing. In my free time I perform trumpet in the Marquette pep band at basketball games and play disc golf at the local parks.

Work

I've worked all kinds of jobs since the age of 14. In high school, I was a customer service assistant for a local bakery, then started a family business with my dad and brother where we ran local little league baseball concession stands. When I started college, I had to take a step back from the concessions business and picked up a few freelance design projects including a content package for Marquette's club ultimate frisbee team, and a fresh menu for a cocktail bar. I then started an internship with Marquette Athletics doing fan engagement at sport events and graphic design for print and digital use. I'm still participating in this internship, but now holding a lead graphic design intern role. I have also recently started driving the safety shuttle around campus known as the Eagle Express.
